Assistant General Manager – 45 hours per week – up to £35,000

As Assistant General Manager with EL&N, you will be in charge of your shift, ensuring your guests are looked after, whist the team are owning the experience! You can diffuse any issues that might arise in a cool and collected manner, and you are able to coach and encourage your team on the go.

The ideal EL&N Manager is as follows;
  • You should be able to make sure all guests are receiving fantastic service and getting the full EL&N experience
  • A hands-on manager who works with the team to drive morale and happiness. You ensure that everyone feels their value
  • Leading the team to success, instilling our 6 core values of Fun, Respect, Honesty, Commitment, Teamwork and Ownership
  • Supporting your GM in managing labour accordingly, putting your aces in places
  • Taking charge of the site in the absence of the GM
  • Ensuring all stock controls are being adhered to so weekly results are accurate and in line
  • Working closely with all departments to ensure that all changes and updates are communicated efficiently

Duty Manager – 45 hours per week – up to £33,000

EL&N is London’s most Instagrammable cafe and we are looking for managers to join us at this exciting time of expansion!

As a Duty Manager with EL&N, you will be in charge of your shift, ensuring your guests are looked after, whist the team are owning the experience! You can diffuse any issues that might arise in a cool and collected manner, and you are able to coach and encourage your team on the go.

Bar Manager – 45 hours per week – up to £33,000

As Coffee Bar Manager, you assist the general manager in managing and taking responsibility for the bar operation. You live and breathe the bean. You ensure that high quality coffee is the result and that all team members on the bar have mastered the art of coffee through excellent product knowledge.

Key Responsiblities:
  • Work with GM and team closely to drive team moral and happiness.
  • Run a great shift and coach as you go to ensure service standards are to Brand.
  • Ensure that all team members are opening and closing the business to the right standard.
  • Support Gm to ensure all team members are onboarded and inducted into the business correctly with the right support and training plan.
  • Support your GM to manage labour accordingly
  • You ensure that all drinks which come out of your Bar are to spec and EL&N Standard.
  • Ensure the business is hitting maximum sales potential
  • Work with your Gm closely to learn how to deliver on key KPIs in the business.
  • Take on focus projects set by your GM on a quarterly basis to grasp an overall learning of business.
  • Ensure that you are doing weekly orders on stock correctly to ensure that your bar is always stocked to the right par levels.
  • Support daily invoicing and transfers being recorded correctly.
  • Ensure that your site is passing quarterly audits with internal independent bodies and Government bodies. All health and safety standards at site are compliant.
  • Ensure that aesthetics of site is to EL&N standard. Any issues raised and reported to relevant departments to fix and maintain the flower power.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in the same or a similar role in the Food & Beverage / Restaurants / Hospitality industries
  • Coffee knowledge (Barista Training) and Bar management experience
  • A passion for improving upon existing service
  • Outstanding customer service and leadership capabilities
  • The desire to work to a very high standard and ensure the team does the same
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Computer skills: MS Office, Windows / Mac
  • Must be aware and sensitive to different cultural sensibilities - we work with an international team and audience
