Luxury department store, Harvey Nichols, is searching for a new Assistant Department Manager to join its thriving Womenswear department in Edinburgh. About the role… As an Assistant Department Manager, you will be leading a team of Style Advisors to help them make our customers fashion dreams a reality, providing a fun and enjoyable 5* experience. You will work closely with your Department Manager helping your team to be the best they can be. You will:

  • Be the best manager you can to your team and provide ongoing training and coaching for them
  • Be devoted to our customers by providing the highest possible standards of customer service both face to face and via the telephone or email
  • Show we are obsessed with style by maintaining a high standard of presentation and merchandising of products in your department
  • Be the person who can handle all our customers queries
  • Be the go to person with a high level of product knowledge and share your opinions on current and future trends
  • Work closely with your team and celebrate fabulousness wherever you see it
  • Flexibility is a must; customer service can’t wait during weekends and evenings!

  • Have you worked with a luxury fashion brand before doing something similar?
  • Have you managed teams before?
  • Are you great at guiding and coaching your team to hit their targets?
